It monitors incoming mains power and responds to each situation: supplementing the external supply or, when not needed, charging the battery.
If external power fails completely, the inverter switches on automatically and supplies pure-sine 230 V AC to connected appliances, so coffee makers, microwaves and other equipment keep running smoothly.
